The Winter

The Winter

A Majestic Hawk Glides through the Cool Air Above.
The Ground below is Frozen.
The Oaks feel his Mighty Flight.
Nature has no Match for His Grace.
The Squirrels frolic Amongst the Trees.
As if to Play according to Ritual Greetings.
They Display little Fear.
The Bright Sun Warms the Wind.
Leaves have Fallen, Leaving most Branches Naked.
A Rebirth is Coming.
The Spring Awaits the Cleansing of the Cold.
The Sun rises Late and Sets Early.
Darkness Purges Many of the Day’s Impurities.
All life is Preparing for Hibernation.
Loneliness gives Way to the New Beginning.
As I walk the Season in which the Christ was born,
I Realize the Rebirth of Man.
Winter is the Messenger of Change.
Decay gives Way to New Origins.
It is Important to Be at Peace.
The Seeds of Goodwill and Mercy Are Sown in Our Hearts.
In the Spring, They will Grow.
For Now the Pain of Change is Stalled.
For Today I join the Solitude of Nature.
