Eternity and Beyond

Eternity and Beyond.

I have often wondered about the fantasy of life. Is there a delusion about mortality? Or is there an illusion about eternity? Is it all that we are? Just eternal beings with a larval stage of physical mortality? Or are we all mortal beings with an illusion that there is something beyond mortality to justify our existence? I choose the larval stage theory.

The illusion of mortality creates many great fears in each of us as we mature through the progressive stages of physical and emotional consciousness. We are all bound by the limits of the flesh and if we are lucky enough, we will consider ourselves as individual celebratory temples of the human race. Time’s place and passage alter the experience of the mind by changing the structure and function of the body. Aging is that unfoldment process. What we once thought was an amazing electrifying experience in our youth becomes an aberration of thought in a mind that guides a frail and feeble body.

The wonderful secret of being young is one that many learned scholars have discovered after searching for the fountain of youth, being young is a state of mind, not a state of physical matter. There are no limits or boundaries of which to speak. If you can dream of the experience, you can become one with it. Dreams are as true as the experiences we call reality. They are essentially one in the same.

So where does this leave us in the Universal understandings of life? Our heart’s desire is to always express ourselves beyond the limits of our bodies and our ages. It is this vital energy that invigorates each of our individual cells to amass and form the physical being that we are. Knowing that eternity exists allows each of us to be forever young, knowing that only our body ages. We will journey deep within the fields and caverns of our soul to find the ageless beauty of life’s eternal sunshine and the repetitive restoration of another day in paradise.
