Brilliance of the Shine

Brilliance of the Shine

Was this Really the Way it was Supposed to be?
Echoes of Desperate Voices Reverberated in my Mind.
Vibrations from the Bells ringing, Warning of the Onset
Of Despair kept me Awake all Night.
Clouds Scattered and hid in Layers in the Skies above.
The Sun made an Encore Appearance over and over again.
Messages from the Darkest Gloom told me to Rearm.
What is the Price of Victory when there were no Spoils?
Only that which Remained was Painful Memories of Lost Illusions.
Love was Once a Priceless Process with no Real Destiny.
It did not Matter Where or How.
It only Mattered with Whom and When.
I Have always Dreamed of the Magic of a Woman’s Touch.
According to our Deep Primal Archetypal images,
Feminine Energy has the Power to Assuage my Deepest Wounds.
She Knows how to Wipe the Tears of a Weeping Phoenix before the Ashes come.
Her Kind words of Encouragement always Startled the Demons of Insecurity.
There were no Pastures of False Hope.
So Where does it End and Begin again?
The Individual Scars of Emotional pain Coalesce
Into an Endless Lonely darkness.
This Immense Shadow Covers each Waking Moment
And Infects my Fanciful Dreams.
Scattered Amongst the Wreckages of the Past,
Lies my Undying will to Find Her Again.
It seems as If It Is for the First Time, Only more Distant and Unfamiliar.
The Forces of Nature are Overwhelming.
They Cannot be Bridled by Mindful Living or Logical Deconstruction.
Olfactory Bulbs are Programmed to Recognize her Scent.
Riding in the Currents of the Future cannot Erase the Unfriendliness of the Past.
The Universal Unconsciousness arranges Meetings of Past and Future Souls.
The Collective Consciousness provides the Fertile Ground for Unfoldment.
The Unity of Spirit Fuels the Rip Tide of Creation.
Spirits that Connect for One Moment experience the Brilliance of the Shine.
It is for that Moment that I Journey.

Was this Really the Way it was Supposed to Be?
